Open the file before sending it
Before sharing your sphere as a PNG, open the exported image and read it as its recipient will. A title may reveal more than you intended, even though the file is not access to your account.
Ora includes PNG export in its free offering. This guide reviews that static image, rather than a Pro snapshot link or a shared workspace with permissions.
A useful personal title may be unnecessary outside
Imagine a fictional plan with a bubble titled “Prepare confidential proposal for client A”. You only want to show a colleague how much afternoon time you reserved. The client name and subject are unnecessary for that conversation.
First decide what the other person needs: an allocation, an available time or a task’s content. Then inspect whether the image communicates only that information. Do not use real names or matters to test an export.
Review the actual PNG
We do not assume Ora automatically conceals sensitive categories, names or notes in every view. Inspect what appears in the file you will actually send.
- Read visible titles for names, private subjects or information you do not need to share.
- Check the date or context explaining which plan the image represents; do not infer precise times the file does not show.
- Decide whether to prepare a more general version or communicate the needed detail another way.
- Open the final file again and check the recipient and channel before sending.
Changing the sphere does not update a sent file
A downloaded PNG is an independent file. Moving a task in Ora afterwards leaves that copy showing what it contained when exported. If the plan changes and you want the recipient to see the new version, tell them and send a new image where appropriate.
Do not treat Ora workspace permissions as a way to erase a PNG received through another channel. This guide does not promise to revoke downloaded copies or retrieve something someone already saved. Decide what to share before sending.
Choose the format for the conversation you need
An image may suffice for showing a static allocation. If you need to edit a day together or manage access, review the relevant features’ current status: a PNG does not provide that collaboration.
The current product facts mark Pro shared spaces as pending visual and multi-device acceptance. Exporting an image does not establish that those features are verified. Review current capabilities and use an existing destination to continue exploring Ora.
