Saving a plan and receiving a reminder are separate events
Ora helps you prepare your day, but its public facts still classify Web Push reminders as in validation: implemented, with real receipt awaiting verification. A saved appointment does not establish that your device will alert you on time.
For a commitment you need to remember, prepare a reference you have checked in your own situation. Permission granted or a send record is not a receipt guarantee. This guide does not announce completed reminder validation.
One six o’clock collection, three checks
In this fictional example you agreed to collect a parcel at 18:00. That time belongs to the commitment. Adding it to the plan organises the day; it does not establish that an alert arrived. Separate these checks:
- Plan: verify the date, time and duration you allocated. A reminder is not travel time.
- Device: Ora describes per-device reminder enablement and optional titles. Choosing one device does not establish that all others were configured.
- Receipt: record only what you actually observed. Permission or saved settings do not prove receipt of this appointment’s notification.
Prepare an alternative without fabricating a test
For this example, write “collection at 18:00” in your diary and choose to consult that page at 17:00 to review the address and decide when to leave for your actual journey. The 17:00 review is our example choice, not a calculated departure or a reminder Ora will create for you.
If you already use a device alarm you have checked, deliberately review its date and time. Keep the diary as the commitment reference. If you try an Ora reminder with a fictional event, distinguish permission, configuration and actual receipt on that device; record the result before deciding whether to rely on it.
What Ora documents and what remains pending
The public facts describe a 24-hour sphere and allocated planning time. Web Push reminders remain in validation without delivery guarantees; titles are opt-in.
Check current states before choosing Ora for this feature. You can assess the planner’s documented available functions without turning pending ones into promises.
Compare the whole workflow, not just the word reminder
Consulted on 25 October 2026, Structured’s guides organise notification setup and customisation; Sunsama’s settings distinguish calendar reminders for tasks from focus-mode reminders. Ora, by contrast, still classifies Web Push reminders as in validation. These are not equivalent promises: review which alert each workflow configures and which you actually received on your device.
Open Ora if it suits your planning. For our collection example, retain 18:00 in the plan, consult your diary at 17:00 and choose departure for your actual journey. The plan organises; the reference you consult lets you review the commitment without assuming receipt of an unvalidated reminder.
